Serenity has been gone,
Pain and emptiness felt within
Head has been always held down
Love has failed and the future’s uncertain.

Where is that sweet smile?
That brave heart has turned frail.
The soul’s traveling on that long dark tunnel,
Looking for the light that’s been gone for awhile.

Every moment has turned gray
Every hour spent without gay
Life’s meaning has past away,
Longing for the love to turn back on its way.

The heart has been drowned with the sadness inside,
Hurt feelings and shared dreams ruined
Still holding-on & faith to mend,
